43mm x 155mm Replacement Backlight

Sometimes vintage hardware can be maintained for years, but the EL Panel backlight starts to dim and fades so much that it becomes unreadable.

It may have been decades since the product was manufactured so getting spares can be tricky. Luckily we have a whole range of replacement EL Backlights available here.

This 43mm x 155mm replacement backlight is a classic size for an EL Backlight that found its way into loads of vintage analogue synthesizer keyboards.

Korg were a big fan of this size backlght EL panel and used it in their Korg 01 WFD, the i3, all the Korg T1, T2 T3 and M1 as well as the Korg Wavestation EX and WS1 Synth Keyboards

They were also put in the rack mounted Korg 01 R/W and Korg Wavestation A/D Synthesizers.

Roland put this EL Foil in their A50, A80 and D70 Keyboards as well as the Roland GC-8

Yamaha put it in their QS300, SY77 SY88, SY99, W5 and W7 digital keyboards

These EL Backlights will have to be soldered into place, they are very robust and if it is not quite the right size you can trim it down to shape with scissors
